Racism kills. Kevin Ahmaad Jenkins, a lecturer in health policy at the School of Nursing and the School of Social Policy and Practice at the University of Pennsylvania tweeted “Black folks are not at risk because we’re Black. Black folks are at risk due to the underlying comorbidities and social circumstances that shape that Black experience.”
